TRANSPORTATION GRANTS

Due to generous support from donors, Title I schools or schools with 50% of students who receive free or reduced lunch can receive bus transportation grants. Schools in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Ventura, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties are eligible to receive bus grants on a first-come, first-served, rolling basis.

Bus Grants Guidelines:

Schools arrange their own transportation and are reimbursed for the grant amount after attending their tour.

We cannot pay for buses and / or cancellation fees / penalties for groups who do not visit.

Please provide a copy of your transportation expense (invoice required) AND proof of your school’s Title I designation OR that 50% of your students qualify for free or reduced lunch to the receptionist on the day of your Museum visit, or within 90 days of your visit. If you do not provide both within the allotted 90 days, we will not be able to reimburse your travel costs.

Reimbursements will be mailed within 60 days of the receipt of the transportation invoice and following completion of a post-visit survey. In order to ensure timely payment, please include the details of who the check is payable to and where the reimbursement should be mailed.

Holocaust Museum LA is currently expanding our campus to accommodate more students and visitors. During construction, our bus drop-off lane is temporarily unavailable. After scheduling your school tour, you will receive detailed instructions on the alternative arrangement for buses and drop off.

We kindly request that you allocate 20-30 additional minutes before your tour start time to accommodate the adjusted drop-off process. Your understanding and cooperation during this transitional phase are greatly appreciated.
