Building Bridges is a monthly cross-cultural discussion series that brings together leaders from diverse communities for conversations about working toward common goals for a more humane and dignified community. It is moderated by Holocaust Museum LA board member, Dan Schnur, who is  a professor at University of California – Berkeley’s Institute of Governmental Studies and the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication,

This month's panel speakers include:

-Father Patrick Desbois, a French Roman Catholic Priest and founder of Yahad-In Unum, an organization dedicated to learning from the past, educating in the present, and working to prevent mass atrocities in the future. Father Desbois has devoted his life to confronting antisemitism and furthering Catholic-Jewish understanding.

-Ed Burzminski, the son of a Catholic Rescuer and Jewish survivor is the President of The Stefi Foundation, whose mission is to inspire compassion, tolerance, and courage by teaching about two Catholic girls who rescued 13 Jews during the Holocaust. 

-Joanna Mendelson is the Senior Vice President of Community Engagement of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
