About

Translators and other U.S. allies fear reprisals from the new regime, while women and girls stand to lose basic freedoms such as their ability to work or go to school. This humanitarian emergency calls upon us to support the people of Afghanistan and their dreams of a better life – time is of the essence. Leaders from organizations working on behalf of Afghan refugees and asylum seekers will discuss how recent events have impacted the people of Afghanistan and what we can do to help.

Featuring:

Joe Goldman, HIAS

Michael Hopkins, Jewish Family Service of San Diego
