About

Join us for a DOR (Descendants of Remembrance) talk by Holocaust Museum LA's Social Media Manager Lindsay Hadash, who will share her grandmother's story.

Rose Blekier Hadash was born in 1925 in the Jewish town of Ostrog, Poland. At 14, she fled with her brother to escape the Nazi invasion, surviving the war in hiding across the Soviet Union. Afterward, she worked as a nurse in a Displaced Persons camp and joined the Exodus 1947, eventually reaching Israel, where she built a life and later immigrated to the U.S. Rose passed in 2023, just shy of 98, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and hope. Her granddaughter, Lindsay Hadash, now Social Media Manager at Holocaust Museum LA, honors that legacy by educating and inspiring others through memory and action.

RSVP not required, event is included with museum admission. Limited space, first come first served. Reserve tickets HERE.
