About
Based on actual events, the book tells the story of Anne Frank and life in the Amsterdam “Secret Annex,“ but from the point of view of Mouschi, the cat who really lived in hiding with the Frank family and others. Through Mouschi’s feline gaze, you begin to see how Amsterdam was turned into an urban prison for the Jewish people; how rules increasingly inhibited their movement, forcing many like the Franks into hiding; and how the Dutch resistance fought back.
You'll also engage with the authors through a presentation, Q&A, and a book signing as you learn more about the Holocaust and the "state of hate" today.
"A gentle but effective introduction to the Holocaust." - Jewish Book Council
