About
Soprano Joanna Freszel and pianist Łukasz Chrzęszczyk are a duo of outstanding young Polish artists involved in varied projects and performances of music from the nineteenth century up to the latest compositions of today. Having concertized and recorded around the world, the duo will make their Holocaust Museum LA debut with a program of ‘Works by great Polish composers of Jewish descent,’ featuring compositions spanning the years immediately before, during, and after World War II.
The concert is realized by the National Institute of Music, co-funded by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the ‘Inspire Culture Program’. Presented in partnership with the USC Polish Music Center in Los Angeles and Polish Cultural Institute New York.
