About

When Jerry was six or seven months old, she had him smuggled out of the Ghetto and placed with the priest of the nearby church. He was then passed on to a farmer's family who resided in the hills outside Bratislava. He spent the war years in hiding with the farmer's family. When the war ended in 1945, his mother's friends became his foster parents.
