10:30 - 11:30 am: The Legacy of Our Founding Survivors: Join us for a conversation with descendants of Holocaust Museum LA's founding survivors about keeping their families' memories alive.
12:00 - 1:00 pm: Voices of Survival: Be inspired by Holocaust survivors Gabriella Karin, Harry Davids, and Eva Brettler as they share their stories of resilience, courage, and hope.
2:30 pm: Mostly Kosher Concert: Dance along with this acclaimed Klezmer-rock band.
10:00 am - 5:00 pm:
See captivating exhibits, including a pavilion showcasing an authentic boxcar in The Stanley and Joyce Black Family Boxcar Pavilion and The Beautiful Game…The Untold Story, in the Bernard & Rena Shapiro Family Gallery, which delves into the origins of soccer and the Jewish impact on how the game evolved and became the world’s most popular sport.
The Omar Mir Virtual Survivor Experience: A new state-of-the-art theater featuring an interactive conversation with survivor Renée Firestone through holographic and voice recognition technology.
Savor a bite from local food trucks.
Typewriters Anonymous: Participate in a community poetry project in the Henry, Renee and Marian Last Reflection Garden.
Drop-in printmaking: Create a unique poster with graphic artist Oscar Rodriguez in the Goldstine Center.
