Holocaust Survivor Talk: Dr. George Berci
Dr. George Berci was born in Szeged, Hungary and grew up in Vienna, Austria. After Dr. Berci spent more than two years in a labor camp, he and other prisoners escaped during a transfer. In 1945, he entered medical school and stayed in Hungary until 1956.

After briefly living in Australia, he came to Los Angeles in 1968. Dr. Berci had a long career at Cedars Sinai, where he still works in research on a daily basis.
