Holocaust Survivor Talk: Eva Brettler
Eva was born in 1936 in Cluj, Romania, which later became a part of Hungary. When Nazi Germany invaded Hungary in 1944, Eva and her mother were deported to Ravensbruck Concentration Camp. Her mother did not survive the journey to the camp.

In March 1945, Eva and other inmates were sent to Bergen Belsen, where she was eventually liberated by British troops.
