About

Michele Rodri was a young child when Nazi Germany invaded her native France. Shortly after the occupation, a German soldier found her playing in the streets and sent her to the Drancy transit camp. Her brother soon managed to secure her release and brought her to a convent where she concealed her Jewish identity. Her parents later sent her to live with a non-Jewish foster family, where she spent the rest of the war.

Holocaust survivors in our community share their personal experiences and stories of courage, resilience, and hope, allowing us to preserve their memories and steward their messages.
