7:00 AM PST - To commemorate the International Holocaust Remembrance Day the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles, in partnership with Holocaust Museum LA and Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Poland, prepared a special commemoration video project.

11:00 AM PST - A virtual concert presented by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in partnership with Holocaust Museum LA. German Pianist Moritz Ernst specializes in the works of composers whose music was banned by the Nazi government. In this moving tribute, Ernst will play works such as such as Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fantasie op.77, Arnold Schoenberg: 5 kleine Klavierstücke op.19, Johannes Brahms: Variations op.18/2, and more.

4:00 PM - Film Premiere and Panel: Finding Matilda: Uncovering the Life and Death of a Jewish Lithuanian Poet presented by the Vilna Shul, Boston's Center for Jewish Culture. Join the science team, Dr. Richard Freund of Christopher Newport University, Dr. Phil Reeder of Duquesne University, and Dr. Harry Jol of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, in the search for the mass grave of Matilda Olkin, a talented poet and college student killed in northern Lithuania in 1941.

6:00 PM - Film Screening: Volevo Solo Vivere - I only wanted to live by Mimmo Clopresti. Nine Italian citizens, all survivors of Auschwitz, share their stories; their testimonies are woven among personal and historical photographs and additional archival footage. Accompanied by an exclusive video introduction by the director, Mimmo Calopresti, and remarks by the Consul General of Italy in Los Angeles, Silvia Chiave, the screening will be presented by the Cultural Institute in Los Angeles and the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles with Holocaust Museum LA, the Museum of Tolerance Los Angeles, the USC Shoah Foundation, AJC Los Angeles, ADL Los Angeles and the Milken Community School.
