About
This introspective and interactive storytelling workshop offers a reflective journey into the stories we inherit from our parents and grandparents, focusing on how intergenerational legacies shape our lives. Through personal and historical narratives, participants explore the impact of family stories, referring to the Holocaust and to other historical contexts, and opening up to the broader, universal implications of trauma and survival across generations for all cultures.
Led by experienced facilitator David Labi, this workshop incorporates storytelling theory, group activities, and personal reflection to help participants connect with family histories. Using creative exercises, participants engage with the historical and anecdotal legacies of their families, unpacking the impact of these stories on their identities, relationships, and worldviews.
