About

Saul Dreier was born in Poland in 1925. Till 1939 he had a usual life in Cracow. His youth was stopped by WWII when the life of Jewish people became a nightmare. He spent years in concentration camps, but his passion for music helped him to stay alive. After liberation by the American army, he spent a few years in Italy. Eventually, he moved to the US, where he met his wife and started his business. Saul says, "Now I’m over 90 but stolen youth is still in me."

Musical accompaniment led by musicians from Klezmer Juice.

As the Founder of Holocaust Survivor Band, he runs concerts and speaks around the world. The band has performed hundreds of times, and recently had the honor of playing for President Biden at the White House Hanukkah party.

"In addition to providing entertainment, Dreier said, the Holocaust Survivor Band promotes unity. 'My goal is peace all over the world, and no antisemitism,' he said." - Washington Post

"The Holocaust Survivor Band summons the bittersweet memories of childhood, but more than that, it is a celebration of life." - The New York Times
