About

The first deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau from Slovakia left the Poprad railway station 81 years ago, transporting 997 Jewish women and girls.  Through portraiture, sculpture, and artifacts the exhibition Who Will Tell Our Stories remembers those who perished, honors those who survived, and depicts their stories through our shared commitment to acceptance, Holocaust education, and human dignity. The exhibit showcases the art of Gabriella Karin, Martin Korčok/Holocaust Museum Sereď, Alexander Wasserman, and Jindřich Buxbaum.

Join us for the opening reception with remarks from Radovan Javorčík, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the United States, and Gabriella Karin, a Slovak Holocaust survivor who now depicts her experiences through her acclaimed sculpture.

Please RSVP to attend in person HERE

For those unable to join us in person, a livestream of this event can be found HERE
