Yiddish culture flourished on all continents In the modern era and had an outsized influence on pop culture. Let’s explore some of the highlights of its creativity that have left a lasting legacy for us to enjoy and build upon.

Miri Koral has been teaching Yiddish language, film, and literature at UCLA since 1999. She is also the Founding Director of the California Institute for Yiddish Culture and Language (yiddishinstitute.org) whose mission since 1999 through innovative programming is to illuminate the complex legacy of the endangered Yiddish language and inspire others of every age to help safeguard it. She is a Yiddish translator and prize-winning Yiddish poet and writer.

Tuition fee is $36 for the three course series.
