Esther was one of the first founders of Holocaust Museum LA, the oldest and first survivor founded Holocaust Museum in the country. After liberation, Esther worked on ensuring the Holocaust would not be forgotten and organized early commemoration ceremonies in DP Camps. Preserving the rich, culture of pre-war Jewish life was important to Esther.

As we reflect on 5781 and move into 5782, we remain committed to the mission of Esther and the founding survivors to commemorate, educate, inspire, and build a more humane and dignified world.
