Art + Theater Workshops



PRINTMAKING ART WORKSHOP

Explore the conversations between art, memory, and action through this week long virtual workshop for students in grades 7-12. Art is a powerful catalyst for change, expression, and healing, and can help in the processing of painful memories as well as a pathway to resilience.   Students will dialogue and work with Holocaust survivors to create prints, exploring the interconnections of daily life, artwork, and social action. The program is presented in partnership with Milken Community School and is open to non-Milken students.




PROGRAM DATES


June 21-25, 2021 from 9am-12pm.

Open to students in grades 7-12.

THEATER WORKSHOP

Virtual Theater Workshop opportunity for student actors and writers! The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and Holocaust Museum LA are offering a digital 2 ½ week program where students will speak with Holocaust survivors to write, direct, and act in a theatre performance inspired by their conversations.
